| Study after study has documented the safety of agricultural crops developed using biotechnology--for both the environment and the dinner table. In fact, some 31 regulatory agencies in 17 countries plus prominent international scientific authorities have stated biotech crops are as safe as conventional crops. These authorities include the National Academy of Sciences, World Health Organization, European Commission, French Academy of Science, American Medical Association, and 3,400 scientists worldwide, including Nobel Prize winners. Their conclusions reflect the thousands of biotech studies that have been conducted to date.
