| Member companies and HCIA volunteers are available
for presentations to business groups, community organizations
and students from elementary to post doctorate levels.
In 2005, more than 70 organizations requested and
received presentations and discussions about the seed
industry and plant breeding practices. Presentations
are tailored to meet the interest of the requesting
organization, ranging from economic impact, food safety
and benefits, to the HCIA's Agricultural Biotechnology
in the Classroom Program, which seeks to inform students
and teachers about Hawaii's seed biotechnology and
career opportunities within the agricultural biotechnology
field.
Please contact Alicia Maluafiti at director @ hciaonline. com
to request a presentation.
